The Canaan dog is the most abused, unwanted and tortured dog in the Middle East. To those who never took the time to foster or adopt one, they are one of the most loyal, loving, protective and easy-to-train dogs. When you adopt a Canaan dog, you are adopting an equal.

We thought we had seen it all. đź’”

A kind lady who reported Oscar (RIP) and Tara to us reached out asking if we could help cover the veterinary bills for one of the cats she has been caring for since he was a kitten.

He is currently at the vet undergoing further diagnostic tests and will be staying there for a few days. His face is swollen, he has nasal discharge, and most alarming of all, he is showing neurological signs, including proprioceptive deficits.

We do help cats too, although we rarely post about them. Unfortunately, our funds are extremely limited, and we simply cannot cover this case alone.

If you can help us with his veterinary costs, we would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference.

The dog that was taken to the vet few days ago did not make it🥹
His medical report revealed that he was suffering from multiple severe problems, starting with his skeletal system and extending to his spine. He was in immense pain, far beyond what anyone could see from the outside.

The vets named him Oscar, and although his time with us was far too short, he deserved to be known, cared for, and loved.

Rest in power and eternal peace, Oscar.

Jordi’s face in the first photo will forever be engraved in our hearts—a heartbreaking reminder of what an abused, terrified pup looks like.
We keep going because we do believe that there is always a happy ending to every tragic story.

Emergency medical assistance needed for an injured dog :
A kind lady who feeds the stray dogs in her area found one of the dogs she regularly cares for unable to walk. He was trying to crawl away and hide from the rest of the pack.

We are taking him to the clinic early tomorrow morning for the necessary X-rays and medical assessment. His caregiver believes that someone may have hit him, but we won’t know the extent of his injuries until he is examined.

We need your help. We are currently unable to cover this case and cannot take responsibility for his treatment unless we can first cover the cost of his initial diagnosis and emergency care.

Update on the run over dog:
We named him Amir đź‘‘
Amir underwent surgery, and the vet placed pins to stabilize and repair the fractures. Thankfully, the surgery went well, and he is now beginning his recovery.
Our medical bills are never ending and we are in debt. We still have boarding expenses that are ongoing , if you can help please don’t hesitate. We rely on our small community to help us
