When a walk is too much because there are builders next door you need to check out first and determine whether they pose a threat to the neighbourhood...

Eventually they were deemed safe enough to leave the spot and we got going 🥰

Anyone else here with a super sensitive dog? Please feel free to share in the comments 🙏

Long overdue post alert ⚠️

Hello 👋

It's me.

Getting my head out of the Social media sand after way too long 🫣

Putting myself out there, being visible, and connecting with people that are new to me - via social media or otherwise - have been a challenge for most of my life (which is one of the reasons I chose to work with dogs).

Being time blind doesn't help with that either. A day nine weeks ago might as well have been yesterday... not great for business, I know.

On a quest to change that I am posting this post, showing my face - at least part of it.

Perhaps some of the amazing people who have trusted me to work with them and their dogs might like to chime in here, either by commenting below or giving this post a thumbs up? Would love to hear from you.

Love
Mareen 🙂

Not everything that looks or sounds like aggression is actual aggression...

Lola pictured here is a perfect example of that. The noises she makes when spotting another dog - quite understandably - cause most people (and their dogs) to give her a wide berth when all she wants to do is say hello! Being restricted by the lead she voices her frustration about the situation, loudly!

When being allowed to meet Cynni and Smooch during our initial consultation it became obvious that she is very social, quite a softie and communicates well.

Now she is attending our Social Walks at weekends and inbetween is learning impulse control in day to day situations with her humans.

We took advantage of the low tide at lunchtime the other day and walked towards Seymour Tower.

The staffie "Mr Full of Beans" (not his real name 😆) only stopped running for quick recalls with treats then he took off again.
