We are looking to register interest for the rehoming of our 3 year old male Lesser Tenrec, Humphrey!

This is not a decision we have made lightly, but if the right home can be found then it would be a joy to see someone else enjoy this wonderful species. Lesser Tenrecs are a unique and fascinating animal that require a dedicated keeper who understands their needs and can provide an appropriate enclosure, diet, enrichment and long term care.

We would love to hear from anyone with an interest in the species, who has researched their requirements, ideally has been interested in owning one for some time and believes they could offer Humphrey a suitable home.

We are in no rush to find the right forever home for him, but if you are genuinely interested, please reach out and we can have a discussion!

Well it’s no secret that we’ve been very quiet over the past few months on our social media. This industry is tough no matter where you’re located and we’ve felt everything at full force lately. That being said, I’d still like to give this our best effort and see if we can take Tails & Scales to the next level if the interest is there still!

I’m currently considering our best options in regard to stock that we can offer, I’m contemplating setting up a couple of breeding groups if the demand is high enough.

Those of you who are interested, please help us out and let me know if you’d be capable of and enthusiastic about welcoming a Leopard Gecko or Lesser Tenrec into your family!

Thank you in advance, I look forward to hearing from you and I hope that we can find ways to continue doing what we do in a way that makes sense, fingers crossed that this may be a beneficial step in the right direction! 🤞🏻

Take a look at our gorgeous female Chahoua Gecko!

This species is a joy to keep and absolutely beautiful, their care is very similar to that of the very popular Crested Gecko and in our opinion they are one of the very best pet lizards 😁

If you’re interested in welcoming a Gecko into your life then look no further, for more details about her please feel free to contact us!

She will be available with her Vivarium kit, all set up and ready to go!

If you’re unable to provide everything needed for an animal… we will refuse to sell to you and we fully reserve the right to do so.

When it comes to running a business… we are winging it 😂 but we do know how to be reptile keepers and we like to think we are good at it… so our priority is ensure you’re the best keepers you can be too. It’s our responsibility to ensure you have all the information you need and to help create the best future keepers possible!

Money is irrelevant when it comes to our reputation and standards being upheld.

Sorry to disappoint ✌🏽

***Both now found amazing homes***

Leopard Geckos, much loved by many people and for good reason. One of our personal favourite species here and by far one of the best choices as a pet Lizard!

We currently have 2 beautiful adult females looking for their forever home and I hope that we can find them their new family’s in time for Christmas 🤞🏻

Lizzy is a lovely wild type, around 9 years old. Freya is a hypo morph and she’s 7 years old!

These beauties will both be available with their current vivarium set ups, fully kitted out and ready to go 👌🏼 If you’re interested in buying either of these Geckos please don’t hesitate to contact me and we can discuss further details and requirements 😁
