🌼🐾Honouring the Pawprints Left on Our Hearts – Día de los Mu***os 🐾🌼
This October, we would love to invite our wonderful clients to join us in celebrating and remembering the beloved pets who are no longer by our sides but will forever remain in our hearts.
🌸What is Día de los Mu***os? 🌸
Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) is a beautiful Mexican tradition that celebrates the lives and memories of loved ones who have passed away. Rather than being a day of sadness, it is a time to remember them with love, joy and gratitude for the happiness they brought into our lives.
As part of this tradition, an altar of remembrance (ofrenda), is decorated with photographs, flowers, candles and meaningful keepsakes to honour those they have lost.
🐾And what about our beloved pets? 🐾
In a growing tradition, 27th October is dedicated to remembering pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge. It is believed that on this day, their spirits return to visit the families who loved them so dearly.
🌼We would love your pets to be part of our ofrenda! 🌼
This year, we will be creating a special ofrenda here at the practice, ready for 26th October, to honour and remember the wonderful animals who have touched our lives.
If you would like your beloved pet to be included, we invite you to send us a photograph of them, along with their name, so we can add them to our display.
Whether they left us recently or many years ago, every pet deserves to be remembered, and every pawprint leaves a lasting mark.
We hope our ofrenda will provide a little space for remembrance, love and celebration of the incredible bonds we share with our animals.
Because although they may no longer be by our sides, they will always be part of our family. 🐾🧡
