Apologies for being quiet for so long

Tom is well. I am getting there. Just a couple of weeks or so still in a hotel before we move to our new place. It is a bit messy but we always have fun turning it into home.

Hi Everybody

One week since we left Rome. We had a short stay in Lisbon before finally returning to Brasília.

We’re seasoned movers, but every previous move came with at least five months to prepare. This time, everything happened on short notice. And it’s not like moving to a different neighborhood or even within the same country. There was an endless amount of paperwork, plus coordinating with moving companies, travel agents, veterinary appointments, and everything else that comes with an international move.

We were physically exhausted. I personally went through three weeks averaging just three hours of sleep a night. But more than anything, we were emotionally drained.

Things are slowly settling down, and life is already starting to feel normal again.
