The ears; the size, the form and the placement are crucial to the real Ragdoll look.
We often see breeders advertising their kittens or older cats with the words "small ears", which in fact do not belong to the Ragdoll breed standard in any association.
I would like to tell you again about the Scandinavian Ragdoll Club's article about interpretation of the FIFe Ragdoll standard.

I have translated the explanations of the pictures of the different ears to English to make it easier to read.

"The ears of a ragdoll should be medium in size. They should be wide at the base and have rounded tips. They are set wide on the head and are slightly tilted forward.
Picture 1: Correct, wide ears with rounded tips. Medium size and set wide apart. Contributes to the balance of the modified wedge shape of the head.
Picture 2: Too small ears which gives the head a too round impression.
Picture 3: Very rounded ear tips, they also give a slightly rounder, incorrect impression of the whole head.
Picture 4: The ears are set too wide apart. In addition to the fact that they cannot follow the eye line, it also gives the head a domed top, and not flat as it should be.
Picture 5: The ears are set too close. The eye line cannot follow their placement and it also gives the expression a “rabbit feel”.
Picture 6: Narrow ears give the head a sharp and pointed expression.
Picture 7: Pointed ears also give a sharp expression.
Picture 8: Curved “banana ears”. Sometimes only the outer line is curved, sometimes the inner line and sometimes both at the same time. The modified wedge shape of the head is disrupted."
