Congratulations on becoming a Flight Instructor. ✈️

As if I wasn’t already proud of you, you’ve found yet another way to inspire me.

For more than 16 years, I’ve watched you take on every challenge with determination, professionalism, and grace. After 38 years in the skies, most people would be thinking about slowing down. Instead, just two years before retirement, you chose to challenge yourself once again and become a Flight Instructor.

Anyone who knows you knows this achievement is about more than aviation. Whether you’re flying an aircraft, guiding guests on horseback through the Tuscan countryside, baking for friends and family, or helping build the life we’ve created together, you bring the same passion, integrity, and commitment to excellence to everything you do.

What I admire most is that you never stop learning, growing, and sharing your knowledge with others. This new chapter is a reflection of the person you are and the example you set every day.

I am incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished and grateful to share this life and adventure with you.

Congratulations. This success is so well deserved. ❤️

Full Moon Trails are back 🌕✨

Last night was something really special.

We rode out from Gio Ranch through the rolling hills of Maremma as the sun melted into one of those unforgettable Tuscan sunsets. Then gathered at Montebelli for a beautiful Italian dinner, plenty of laughter, and wine… maybe a glass too many… or maybe exactly the right amount 🍷 after all, we are in Italy.

Then came the magic.

Yesterday’s full moon was a Blue Moon, and we saddled up for the journey back through the night.

Hoofbeats in the silence. Wild animals moving in the dark. Sleeping trees all around us. And thousands of fireflies lighting the trail like little stars dancing beneath the moonlight… as if the Blue Moon itself wasn’t magical enough.

We stopped for the iconic photo at the unforgettable gate of House of Gio before finishing the night the best possible way — together with a candlelight nightcap at The Clubhouse.

Have you ever ridden under moonlight? It’s pure magic. We are completely in love with these nights.
