On 24 September, joined the Festival of Good Educational Practices through Art, organised by DIT - Interpretazione e Traduzione a Forlì - UniBo.

The festival featured an exhibition of 20 posters showcasing good practices in arts-based education and our team presented activities and outcomes from ALPHABETICA´s research, highlighting innovative approaches to inclusive and participatory learning ✨

👏🏿 👏🏿 The festival was a valuable opportunity to share practices, strengthen connections and celebrate the role of art in building more inclusive and creative educational environments. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this exchange possible 🧡

at the 2026 UNIGHT 🎇

On 26 September, the Università degli Studi di Torino brought ALPHABETICA’s vision to the European Researchers’ Night in , exploring how arts and heritage education can help tackle and support more inclusive learning environments.

🏛️ The talk highlighted a decade-long collaboration between CPIA1 Turin, Museo Egizio, Torino and Diskolé, showing how learners from diverse migrant backgrounds can become active interpreters of cultural heritage, sharing museum objects and stories with their communities.

🤝 Building on such inspiring practices, ALPHABETICA’s Italian will continue exploring how and cultural heritage education can promote inclusion and address educational inequalities.

🐝🌿 Small moments create beautiful memories!

Led by artist-researcher Kremena Dimitrova Illustration, in collaboration with consultant dance artist Sadie Hunt, ALPHABETICA’s Our Caring World through Art (OCWA) pilot action brought more than 100 participants together at Edmonton Green Library Community Garden in North London. Together, they built the wonderful Our Bug Mania Hotel using natural materials, and filled the garden with masks, arts, crafts, music, singing and dancing 🐞🎨🎶

A joyful space where creativity brought people together and helped children discover new ways to connect with each other and the natural world. 🌱💚

🏛️ Can cultural heritage foster inclusion and a sense of belonging❓

On 26 September, the team at the Università degli Studi di Torino will join the 2026 ✨ with a Talk exploring how heritage education can become a form of participation and citizenship education.

The discussion will bring together ALPHABETICA and two local stakeholders involved in the project’s Living Lab: CPIA 1 Turin, a school supporting adults and people with migrant backgrounds, and the Museo Egizio, Torino.

For the past ten years, these two institutions have collaborated on an inspiring initiative in which students with migrant backgrounds become museum guides. Their experience offers a powerful example of how cultural heritage can create opportunities for participation, identification and belonging💡

TODAY 📢✨The Festival of Good Educational Practices through Art✨

We are excited to share some of the experiences that will present at the event 👇🏻👇🏿

A damaged wall transformed into a collective : a wall that does not divide, but tells the story of a community and the many voices that make it up 🤝

At R. Follereau Primary School in Forlì, an act of vandalism that damaged an outside wall of the school became the starting point for a creative and participatory project.

🎨 With the participation of Laura Fuzzi, the children created a collective narrative mural, transforming a damaged space into a place of memory, belonging and active citizenship💪🏿
