Big solar eclipse day is here! And what a miracle it was! We went to Þórisjökull first and since it was cloudy and raining, we went to Hotel Húsafell for beers… sat down in the patio with sun behind the clouds right in front. 3 crows sat on the roof top right above us… Swear to God, one gap in clouds opened, so I laughed. Had time before full eclipse so I went up to the bar for a second beer and the staff girl excitingly shouted by the window “you can see it, come, come” so me and bartender went by the window and there it was, THE ECLIPSE. The clouds covered the sun again, I’ve left my phone on the bench so this was just looking and remembering. As we sit around, in absolute silence, no one around, another gap came in a fuller range and I took that photo (will be very last in this picture clutter). Unbelievable miracle that was, with rain and heavy clouds 😲 What a day! 😍
