Námskeiðin byrja 18-20 september 2026(English below)

⭐️Námskeið upplögð fyrir börn sem hafa áhuga á hestum en hafa ekki
hest né aðstöðu til að fara á hestbak.
⭐️Börnin fá úthlutaða hesta sem þau sjá um eins og sinn eigin. Þau læra að hirða um hestana og fara í útreiðartúra.
⭐️Þátttakendur fá góða innsýn inn í heim hestamennskunnar og öðlast mikilvægan skilning á því að hestamennska er ekki bara fólgin í því að fara á hestbak.

Registration for “Horse in Foster Care” is now open!

The course starts on the 1st and 2nd of February!

⭐️The course is ideal for children who are interested in horses but do not have a horse or the facilities to ride.
⭐️Children are assigned horses that they take care of as their own. They learn to look after the horses and go on riding tours.
⭐️Participants gain valuable insight into the world of horsemanship and understand that horsemanship is not just about riding.

Experience the magic of autumn in one of the most iconic landscapes of Iceland. Our ride takes us to the historic side of Þingvellir National Park. We spend a day riding through the breathtaking scenery of Þingvellir, a UNESCO world heritage site as the birch forests turn brilliant shades of gold and orange🍂

Duration: 3 Days
Riding Skills: intermediate to advanced riders
Accommodation: Skógarhólar Lodge (2 nights, sleeping bag accommodation)
Meals: All meals are prepared by our chef and are included in the tour price

Hard to believe this view is only 15 minutes from downtown Reykjavík.

Flowers in bloom, Icelandic horses, fresh air, and endless landscapes, it really does feel like stepping into a fairytale. 🐴🧚‍♂️
