روز جهانی مقابله با هاری – 28 سپتامبر
۲۸ سپتامبر، روز جهانی مقابله با هاری، فرصتی برای افزایش آگاهی درباره این بیماری و راه‌های پیشگیری از آن است. هاری بیماری خطرناکی است که می‌تواند بسیاری از پستانداران، از جمله سگ‌ها، گربه‌ها و حیات وحش را مبتلا کند و به انسان نیز منتقل شود.
متخصصان تأکید می‌کنند که کشتار سگ‌ها راه‌حل مقابله با هاری نیست. واکسیناسیون حداقل ۷۰ درصد از جمعیت سگ‌ها، در کنار آموزش عمومی، راهکاری مؤثر برای کنترل این بیماری و حفاظت از سلامت انسان و حیوان است.
World Rabies Day | September 28
World Rabies Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about rabies and how to prevent it. Rabies is a deadly disease that can affect many mammals, including dogs, cats, and wildlife, and can also be transmitted to humans.
Experts agree that killing dogs is not the solution. Vaccinating at least 70% of the dog population, along with public education, effectively controls rabies and protects both human and animal health.
Vaccination saves lives. Killing is not the solution.

میگ میگ از پذیرش های زمان جنگ هست. اواخر فروردین اومد پناهگاه، یک سگ لاغر و بی مو ولی با دو چشم درشت. خوشبختانه جز جرب شدید مشکل دیگه ای نداشت. حالا نزدیک به شش ماهه که توی پناهگاهه و سالم و خوب و خوشحال و مشغول شیطنت و بازیگوشی.
فرزاد میگه که برای درمان چنین مواردی قرص براوکتو خیلی کمک میکنه. به میگ میگ هم همین قرص کمک کرد.
ممنون که در کنار وفا هستید.

Mig Mig is one of the dogs who was admitted to Vafa during the war. He arrived at the shelter in late April, a very thin, hairless dog with two big, beautiful eyes. Fortunately, aside from a severe case of mange, he had no other health problems.
Now, almost six months later, he is healthy, doing well, happy, and busy getting into all kinds of mischief and playing.
Farzad says Bravecto tablets are very helpful for cases like this. The same medication helped Mig Mig recover, too.

خوب پسر ما هم عمل شد. پسری که خیلی ها دلتون براش سوخت وقتی دیدید با آن زخم و جراحت شدید هنوز آروم نشسته. انگار هر چه بیشتر ظلم می بینند، صبورتر میشوند.
همان شب به تهران اعزام شد و توسط دکتر عابدی چراحی شد.
هفته پیش چهارشنبه 18 شهریور پذیرش و عمل شد و امروز یک هفته از عمل او میگذره.
خیلی از دوستان برای درمان این حیوان مظلوم کمک های کوچک و بزرگی واریز کردند. خانم ناهید سلیمی از دوستان وفا در کانادا اسپانسر ماهانه او و پروسه درمانش شد و برایش اسم سگ خودش شِ وی (Chevy) رو انتخاب کرد.
شما را در روند بهبودیش قرار میدهیم.

Well, our boy has had his surgery too.
He is the one many of you felt heartbroken for when you saw him sitting so calmly despite his severe wound and injury. It seems that the more cruelty they endure, the more patient they become.
That same night, he was sent to Tehran and underwent surgery performed by Dr. Abedi.
He was admitted and operated on last Wednesday, September 9, and today marks one week since his surgery.
Many friends made donations, large and small, to help cover this innocent animal's treatment. Ms. Nahid Salimi, a Vafa supporter in Canada, became his monthly sponsor and is supporting him throughout his treatment. She also named him Chevy, after her own dog. We will keep you updated on his recovery.

چهارشنبه پذیرش شد با اینکه گفته بودیم پذیرش نداریم و بدهی های دامپزشکی و عمل های جراحی زیاد شده، ولی وقتی فرزاد وضعیت این سگ مظلوم رو دید نتونست قبولش نکنه.
در پناهگاه دکتر به او داروهای ضد التهاب، آنتی بیوتیک و داروهای تقویتی داد و همان شب در کلینیک دکتر عابدی عمل شد.
خیلی سختی کشیده. کلی خون از دست داده. یک دستش قطع و دست دیگر عمل شد. براش انرژی مثبت بفرستید تا بماند شاید بتوانیم زندگی نسبتا آرومی رو بهش هدیه بدیم، از زندگی در خیابان که خیری ندید.
لطفا ما را در هزینه ها یاری کنید. ما منتظر این نشدیم تا اسپانسری برایش پیدا شود چون وضعیتش بسیار اضطراری بود.

He was admitted on September 9, 2026, even though we had announced that we were no longer accepting new dogs because our veterinary and surgical debts had become overwhelming. But when Farzad saw this poor dog's condition, he couldn’t turn him away.
At the shelter, our veterinarian gave him anti-inflammatory medication, antibiotics, and supportive treatment. That same night, he underwent surgery at Dr. Abedi’s clinic.
He has suffered terribly. He lost a great deal of blood. One of his legs had to be amputated, and the other was surgically repaired.
Please send him your positive thoughts and hope that he makes it. Maybe, if he survives, we can give him a relatively peaceful life—a life he never found on the streets.
Please help us with his medical expenses. We couldn’t wait to find a sponsor for him first; his condition was far too urgent.

این هم یکی دیگر از پذیرش های ماه مرداد ما هست. بیش از آنکه این کوچولو توجه ما رو جلب کنه، دیدن انسانی که او را برایمان آورد، توجهمان را جلب کرد. مرد مسنی که اگر از روی ظاهر میخواستی قضاوت کنی باور نمیکردی که او به فکر غذارسانی به سگ ها باشد. چقدر خوشحالیم که دنیای حیوانات آنقدر گسترده و مهربان است که تمام پیش فرض ها و قضاوت های نابجای ما را به هم میریزد.
دوست عزیز ممنون که به فکر حیوانات هستی. ممنون که به این کوچولو توجه کردی و متوجه شدی پایش شکسته و پرس و جو کردی و فهمیدی موتور به او زده. ممنون که توصیه میکنی مردم از توله کش ها سگ نخرند. ممنون که با تمام داشته و نداشته هایت باز هم میگویی خودت هم کمک میکنی برای درمان این کوچولوی مظلوم.
لطفا کمک کنید تا بتوانیم این سگ را درمان کنیم. بدهی های ما به دامپزشکی بسیار زیاد شده و از توان ما خارج است.

Here is another one of our August rescues.
What touched us most was not only this little dog, but the elderly man who brought him to us. You might never have guessed from his appearance that he cares about feeding stray dogs.
Dear friend, thank you for noticing this little one, discovering that his leg was broken after being hit by a motorcycle, and bringing him to safety. Thank you for caring about animals, for encouraging people not to buy dogs from breeders, and for offering to help with his treatment despite having so little yourself.
Please help us give this innocent little dog the treatment he needs. Our veterinary debts have become overwhelming and are beyond our means.
We are deeply grateful to all our dear supporters who continue to stand with us.
