Celebrates a Decade of Compassionate Pet Care 🐾 🐾

Visakhapatnam, August 28: Paws N Tails Premium Pet Hospital, Pedda Waltair, celebrated the inauguration of its Decennial Celebrations (2016–2026), marking ten years of dedicated and compassionate veterinary care under the leadership of its Founder and Chief Veterinary Surgeon, Dr. Neralla Sridhar, along with his team.

The inaugural programme was graced by Dr. Shankhabratha Bagchi, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Dr. D. B. Patil, Director of Postgraduate Studies, Anand, Gujarat; Dr. R. Neelaiah, Joint Director of Animal Husbandry; and Dr. A. Ravikumar, Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry.

The Chief Guest inaugurated the hospital’s new state-of-the-art Ultrasound Machine, marking another milestone in strengthening its advanced diagnostic facilities. A two-day Pet Ophthalmology Camp for dogs and cats, being held on August 28 and 29, was also inaugurated. Nearly 20 pets were examined on the first day, with specialist consultations and treatment recommendations provided for various eye conditions.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Neralla Sridhar recalled the remarkable journey of Paws N Tails from a small 900 sq. ft. clinic to a 2,100 sq. ft. premium pet hospital, thanking pet parents, staff and well-wishers for their continued support.

Dr. Shankhabratha Bagchi appreciated the dedication of the Paws N Tails team and emphasised the increasing need for well-equipped, multispecialty veterinary hospitals to provide quality healthcare for animals. He congratulated the team for their committed efforts towards animal welfare.

As part of the celebrations, two animal welfare NGOs were honoured for their tireless service to animals.

The celebrations will continue on August 29 at 4:00 PM, when Dr. D. B. Patil will deliver a special talk on “Recent Advances in Veterinary Medicine for Dogs and Cats” at Hotel Rockdale, with around 80 pet parents expected to participate.
