Epiphora in cats is the overflow of tears, causing wetness, staining, and potential skin irritation, often seen in flat-faced breeds like Persians due to poor tear drainage but can also signal infections (conjunctivitis), allergies, corneal issues, or blocked ducts, requiring vet attention to address the underlying cause and prevent infection, with gentle cleaning as home care.

Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) in cats, also known as "wobbly cat syndrome," is a congenital neurological disorder where the cerebellum (brain's balance center) is underdeveloped, causing uncoordinated, jerky movements, wobbling, and balance issues, often appearing when kittens start walking. It's usually caused by the mother cat contracting the feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) during pregnancy, but the affected kittens aren't contagious and can live happy lives with proper care. Symptoms include a wide stance, head tremors, and clumsy walking, but CH doesn't worsen over time.
