Highly intelligent, social, and full of attitude! Quakers are known for their playful nature, strong bonding with their owners, and sometimes a bit of territorial behaviour if not trained properly.

🗣️ Talking Ability
One of the best talkers among small parrots! Clear speech, quick learners, and they love mimicking sounds from their surroundings.

⏳ Lifespan
With proper care, diet, and enrichment — they can live around 20–30 years.

🥗 Diet (as a pet)
A balanced diet is key:
• High-quality pellets
• Fresh vegetables & leafy greens
• Limited fruits
• Seeds only in moderation

Think seeds are enough for every parrot? Not for lories and lorikeets 🦜❌

These birds are completely different — in the wild, they feed mainly on nectar, pollen, and soft fruits. That means their diet at home needs to match that natural requirement.

Nectar isn’t a treat… it’s a necessity.

Without a proper nectar-based diet:
⚠️ They can face serious health issues
⚠️ Energy levels drop
⚠️ Behaviour problems can start
