A Step Towards a Safer, Healthier Pune

Karma Foundation, in association with Harit, is launching a Stray & Community Dog Sterilisation Drive in Pune.

As part of this initiative, we will be:
✔️ Sterilising stray & community dogs
✔️ Vaccinating them for long-term health
✔️ Microchipping for proper identification & monitoring

To ensure transparency and citizen participation, slot bookings will be available online for all Pune residents.

For dogs, even God would have four legs and maybe that’s why she prayed for help the night she collapsed outside a meat shop.

Beaten, starving, wounded, and ignored — until an ambulance stopped for her.

Her healing has begun, but her treatment isn’t over.

Snare traps are illegal for a reason — they kill. But farmers have safer, practical options that actually work:

• Motion lights: Sudden flash makes animals change direction.
• Trenches + thorn fencing: Natural barrier animals avoid crossing.
• Tripwire alarms: A simple rope + bell wakes the farmer instantly.
• Reflective tape & sound tools: Confuse animals at night.
• Community patrols: Traditional, low-cost and effective.

These alternatives saves both lives and crops but as of now, Rambo's life still hangs by a thread.
