🐥 Important Info for Hand-Feeding Cockatiel Chicks

In the picture you can see 3 types of feeding accessories.

❌ *AVOID: Curved tip syringe*
I personally don't recommend this. When cockatiel chicks are small they feed calmly, but after 30+ days old they become very aggressive while feeding. With a curved tip, there is a high chance the food pipe gets hurt/scratched, which can cause internal bleeding.

✅ *RECOMMENDED:*
1. Normal Syringe - Much safer than curved one.
2. *BEST:* Stainless Steel Bird Feeding Spoon (Pointed Diamond Tip) - This is specifically made for feeding parrot chicks and is the safest option from my experience.

This is based on my personal experience raising cockatiels. Always feed gently and carefully. 🙏
