STOP POOPING INSIDE! 💩🐶

If your dog keeps using the same spot inside the house, try this simple technique.

Thoroughly clean the area, then feed your dog a few treats or some food at that exact spot. Repeat this 2–3 times.

Dogs usually avoid soiling the place where they eat, so you’re helping your dog build a different association with that spot.

Save this and try it if your dog has a favourite “wrong” potty spot! 🐾

Teach “Perfect sit” the base of obedience 🐶

Here’s a simple 3-step method:

1️⃣ Bring a treat close to your dog’s nose and slowly move it upwards and slightly back. As your dog follows the treat, they will naturally sit.

2️⃣ The moment your dog sits, say “YES!” and reward them immediately. This helps them understand exactly what earned the treat.

3️⃣ Once your dog starts sitting reliably, add the word “SIT” just before the movement. With repetition, your dog will learn to respond to the command.

Keep training sessions short, positive, and consistent. 🐾

Does your dog jump on you or your guests every time they get excited? 🐶

Jumping is usually a learned habit — and simply pushing your dog away can actually make it worse.

Instead, redirect the jumping behaviour. Show your dog that you have a treat, let them understand that jumping won’t earn it, and wait for the moment their paws are back on the ground or they sit. That’s when you reward.

The message is simple:
Jumping gets nothing. Calm behaviour gets rewarded.

Be consistent, and your dog will start choosing the behaviour that works. 🐾

Best age to start training your puppy? 🐶

The answer: as early as 2–3 months.

At this age, your puppy is learning everything around him. It is the perfect time to build basic commands, manners, boundaries and good habits.

As your puppy grows, those behaviours can become habits — and later, established behaviour patterns. That doesn’t mean an older dog can’t be trained. It simply means you may need more time, repetition and consistency.

Think of it like a sheet of paper:
3 months → White
6 months → Grey
9 months → Darker
12+ months → Even darker

The earlier you build the behaviour you want, the less you have to correct later.

Don’t wait for bad habits to become your dog’s behaviour.

Start early.

How to teach your dog the “NO” command 🐶

The goal isn’t to scare your dog or keep saying “NO” until they stop.

First, help your dog understand what “NO” means. Start with a toy your dog loves, say “NO,” and reward them when they let go of the toy.

Once they understand the pattern, stop rewarding immediately. Say “NO,” wait for them to make the right choice, and reward them only when they let go.

With repetition and practice in different situations, your dog will gradually learn that “NO” means stop what you’re doing.

Start training early, stay consistent, and always reward the behaviour you want to see. ❤️🐾
