Not all wild dogs are "wild"
Pahadi dogs or mountain dogs are my favourite. Also known as es**rt dogs, i saw them in their complete element recently. We were approached by 4 handsome pahadi dogs at the beginning of our trail. They didn't want food or water. All they wanted was to tag along and enjoy the walk.
They were very patient when we took small breaks and happily obliged for pictures. On our way they spotted a dead baby deer and lets just say.... I was glad it was already dead.
Once they devoured their lunch we walked up to the top of the mountain. Once there, we sat in silence and just soaked in the beauty the hills offered us. And right next to us, the dogs did the same exact thing!
It was like an experience straight out of a book. On our way back too they were our perfect companions. They dropped us off to same spot where they found us and went off doing their own thing. All they wanted was some companionship... Just like all of us.
