Not every bladder stone causes obvious symptoms in the beginning. A simple check-up and early diagnostics can often detect stones before they become a painful emergency.

Male cats are especially at risk of developing urinary blockages, turning them into what we commonly call a “blocked cat”, a life-threatening condition that requires immediate treatment.

In this case, a cystotomy was performed to remove bladder stones and help restore a normal, comfortable life.

Early detection can make all the difference. If your cat is straining to urinate, visiting the litter box frequently, or showing any urinary changes, don’t wait to get them checked.
