When you love dogs and see one, you go all ga ga over that dog, hug him, cuddle him, smother him with kisses but is that dog really comfortable with all that? You invading his personal space? Some dogs maybe okay and some may not. Below are some of the safe places where you can pet a dog. But even before that, first check with the handler if it's okay to pet his dog and then you need to check if the dog is okay with any touch at all. Simple way to do this is to allow the dog to sniff your hand, if the dog backs out, please respect his decision and give him his space. But if the dog approaches you, go ahead and pet at the below mentioned places :)

Many leave the city during Diwali to escape the pollution that further worsens the already bad air quality. But there are many more like old citizens, kids, street dogs & cats, who can't escape even if they wished to.
