Patience pays…. Bought a semi adult pair of Sun conures 4 yrs back.
1st clutch - didn’t incubate and infertile
2nd clutch - fertile but incubated for 10 days and left the eggs to get cold and DIS
3rd clutch - fertile but again female incubated for 18 days and left them
4th clutch - incubated and hatched 3 chicks. Only fed the 1st chick for 5 days and didn’t feed the next 2 chicks at all. All of them died.
5th clutch - hatched 3 chicks this time and feeding very well.
Lesson learnt - We should give them chances and time to learn. Not all birds do things perfectly the first time.
Feeling happy for them.
