🚨 WE TOOK THE CONCERN TO THE AUTHORITIES.

Following serious concerns regarding the functioning of ABC centres, AASRA brought an affected dog to the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner’s office so that the concerns could be seen and understood directly.

The dog was examined, the issues were explained, and subsequently AASRA submitted a formal representation to the Commissioner requesting that the concerns be properly investigated and appropriate action taken wherever irregularities are found.

This is not about making accusations without verification.

It is about asking questions, presenting evidence, seeking transparency and demanding accountability for the welfare of animals. 🐾

We will continue to follow up until these concerns receive the attention they deserve.

🚨 ABC CENTRES NEED ACCOUNTABILITY — NOT SILENCE.

Animal Birth Control is meant to protect animals and serve the community.

But serious concerns have been brought to our attention regarding the functioning of ABC centres in the Malkajgiri area — including concerns about sterilisation, post-operative care, confinement, release of dogs, surgeries, and proper maintenance of records.

These are not small issues.

Under the Animal Birth Control Rules, 2023, dogs must be properly examined, healthy animals separated from sick or injured animals, surgeries performed by veterinarians, records maintained, and recovered dogs released back to the same locality from where they were captured.

So we are asking one simple question:

Are the rules being followed in practice?

AASRA is bringing these concerns to the attention of the concerned authorities and seeking proper inspection, transparency, accountability and corrective action wherever violations are found.

This is not about attacking individuals.
It is about protecting animals.

🐾 ABC centres are meant to save lives — every dog deserves humane treatment, proper medical care and dignity.

We request concerned authorities, animal welfare organisations and citizens to speak up, ask questions and demand transparency.

Because when public money and the lives of voiceless animals are involved, accountability matters.

AASRA Arudra n BK feeders has visited Erragadda to address the issue of illegal bird and animal sales.

We spoke directly with the vendors, raised our concerns, and tried to understand the situation on the ground. Instead of simply arguing, we are focused on finding practical solutions and taking the right action to protect these animals.

AASRA will continue to speak up for the voiceless and work towards responsible, lawful animal welfare.

Today, at the site of our new AASRA shelter, one of our Senior Board Members shares his vision, plans and dreams for creating a safer and more compassionate space for animals in need.

This is more than just a shelter.
It is a vision for a place where rescued animals can heal, recover, feel safe and eventually find loving homes. 🐶🐱🐾

The journey has just begun — and with the support of our team, volunteers and everyone who believes in animal welfare, we hope to turn this vision into reality.

Even during the busy Ganesh Nimajjanam celebrations, people still took the time to visit the AASRA Adoption Drive. ❤️🐾

And what a beautiful day it turned out to be—10 Indian dogs found loving new families and beautiful homes! 🏡🐶

The traffic, celebrations and crowds couldn’t stop the love. Every adoption means a new beginning and a second chance at life.
