Hair shedding??

This season you may face excess hair shedding and smell! Please see below the checklist
1) Have you dewormed ?
2) Have you given him enough protein and amino acids in diet?

Always see the age of your puppy before buying.
Premature weaning can deteriorate the puppy behaviour as most of the natural behavior are learned during puppy stage when playing with their batchmates born together.
For example.... A puppy may bite another puppy while playing with excess force which makes the other puppy either angry or hurt, in both the cases the game they are playing along will stop which no body wishes.
Soon all puppies learns to regulate the bite pressure according to the conditions so that nobody injures and play goes on.

Is your home carpet made of dogs fur!!

Excess hairfall in dogs may be a result of malnutrition, pH imbalance of skin, skin diseases or parasites

Malnutrition- Add vitamin A, essential amino acids, soyabean and cod liver oil in the diet. For commercial products look for above contents.

Ph imbalance- using ordinary toilet soap or shampoo may lead to ph imbalance ,always go for clinically proven pet shampoo only

Skin infection or parasites - Streptococcus or Staphylococcus are common infectious agents of skins which any antibiotics can control.
Parasites are of wide variety and skin test must be done prior to treatment.

Always make sure to buy properly vaccinated puppies and timely vaccinate thereafter to ensure disease free healthy puppies.
Vaccinate for rabies on the 3rd month

Vaccinate for 6 deadly (leptospirosis,parvovirus hepatitis and canine herpes virus)diseases in a combined vaccine 15 days after the rabies vaccination. Booster dose can be given one month after the primary dose of each vaccine.
Thereafter vaccinate annually

Your Puppy is bound to gets bugs(parasites) and we kill them by what is comonly call !! Deworming!!
1) Deworm your puppy by the end of 2nd month and the earliest by 3rd month.
2)Most common dewormimg drugs are fenbendazole,Praziquantel, piperazine citrate and ivermectins. (each having specific action which one can easily goggle out)

3)Never attempt deworming for poor dilapidated puppies or during fever, it may further worsen the condition.

4)Deworming drugs are having side affects specially to liver, puppy may show signs of sedation which subsides the next day.

5)Do not give extra stress on the day of deworming as well as vaccination. (Bathing, Exercise etc).It helps the puppy to cope the stress better.

1) Milk(dogs have trouble taking lactose)
2) Onions (in large doses may cause anemia)
