FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE THAT THE SC JUDGEMENT IS BALANCED. FOR THOSE WHO ARE REJOICING THE ORDER, READ THIS 👇

The Supreme Court NEVER ordered a mass killing of stray dogs.
Yet the Punjab CM publicly announced a campaign to “eliminate” stray dogs in the name of the Court’s directions. This is dangerous and irresponsible.

The Supreme Court’s directions were about regulated action, sterilisation, vaccination, relocation from sensitive public spaces, and intervention only in legally permitted specific cases under veterinary assessment and the ABC Rules 2023 — NOT a state-backed killing drive.

But because of these reckless statements, violence has already begun.
Dogs are being chased, beaten, picked up, and killed while the public is being falsely made to believe that the Supreme Court has ordered it. It has NOT.

If the Punjab government truly cared about public safety, it would invest in:
• Mass sterilisation
• Vaccination drives
• Waste management
• Shelter infrastructure
• Ground-level implementation of ABC Rules

We strongly condemn this narrative being pushed by the Punjab CM and stand against every unlawful act of violence committed against stray dogs in the name of the Supreme Court.

History will remember who chose compassion — and who chose cruelty.
