🐾 NOTUN GAON CASE UPDATE
You may remember this girl from Notun Gaon, who was rescued by our volunteer Akash after she met with a severe road accident and was found completely unable to move.
She was in tremendous pain, and after examination, the veterinarian confirmed a fractured forelimb and a serious neck injury. She was given immediate treatment to stabilize her and manage the pain, followed by further care and monitoring.
Since then, her journey has been slow, but she has been fighting her way back. ❤️
On 22nd August, our team took her for a check-up, and we were relieved to see some encouraging progress. She is gradually gaining strength in her front limbs, her wound has healed, and her fractured forelimb appears to be healing on its own. She has also recovered from Canine Distemper (CD).
However, her hind limbs still have very little strength, and she is unable to walk on her own. Regular exercises and physiotherapy-like movement are now essential to help her regain strength in her legs.
And through all of this, there is someone who has quietly been doing a huge part of her recovery.
Kaidul Islam da. ❤️
Ever since she was shifted from Anushka's place, Kaidul da has been taking care of her every single day. From giving her medicines on time to cleaning the space around her, maintaining her hygiene, to regularly exercising her weak limbs, he has been there for everything.
Because she cannot walk or manage things on her own, her care requires constant effort, patience and time. And Kaidul da has been giving her exactly that, without ever making it feel like a burden.
He has also been helping us with several other cases whenever needed. People like him are rare, the kind who quietly step in, take responsibility and keep showing up when an animal needs them the most.
Kaidul da, you are truly one gem of a person. ❤️
Thank you for taking such good care of her, for being patient with her recovery, and for standing by her when she needed someone the most.
Her journey isn't over yet. She still has a long way to go, but with care, exercise and people like Kaidul da beside her, we hope to see her take those steps again. 🐾❤️
