BULLYKUTTA GUARDS 💀🔥☠️ an old video of Ginger and Shamsher during the initial days of the farm. They were my first 2 pets ♥️ at the farm , unfortunately Shamsher expired a couple of years back 😢

Bullykuttas just have a natural guarding instinct , its not a dog for a first time owner and not very easy to train them...though I never train any of my dogs and leave it to their insitincts since we border a forest area.

Want strong hinds on your Mastiff? Avoid early high-impact exercise—protect those fragile growth plates first! 🐾👇🏽

Building strong rear legs in giant breeds (Boerboels , Bullykutta, Bullmastiffs, Great Danes and other giant breeds) is a careful balance. Their heavy frames grow faster than supporting joints, making them prone to hip dysplasia if over-worked or over-fed.

Please note always consult a Vet on first signs of any issue, this is only directional based on experience

Phase 1: Puppyhood (2–8 Months) – Protect Joints

Keep Them Lean: Feed a Giant Breed Puppy formula to control growth rate. Never feed extra calcium.

5-Minute Rule: Limit walks to 5 mins per month of age, twice daily (e.g., 4 mos = 20-min walk).

Prevent Slipping & Impact: Cover slick tiles with non-slip rugs. Stop all jumping off furniture, cars, or stairs to protect fragile growth plates.

Phase 2: Adolescence (8–18 Months) – Low-Impact Muscle

Uphill Walks & Sand: Walking up grassy inclines or on soft sand forces rear push-off without joint impact.

Swimming: Water resistance builds deep hind-quarter muscle with zero joint stress.

Dog Squats: Practice controlled Sit-to-Stand reps to strengthen quads and glutes.

Phase 3: Adulthood (18 Months–3 Years) – Maintain Power

Weight Control: Keep a visible waist; excess weight accelerates arthritis.

Joint Support: Add Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and Omega-3s daily.

Watch Gait: If you spot a "bunny-hop" stride or stiffness rising, get vet X-rays immediately.
