She came into my life when I was at one of my lowest points.

I needed to be loved.
I needed to be seen, heard, and felt.
I needed someone to sit beside me in the silence, someone to hold onto, someone to cuddle when the world felt a little too heavy.

And then, there she was. 🐾🤍

She walked into my life with those tiny paws, shiny eyes and somehow made herself at home in every empty corner of my heart and my life.

She didn’t ask me to explain what hurt. She didn’t need me to have the right words. She just loved me with everything she had. She gave me more than she had.

I thought I was bringing a dog into my life. But No, The Truth is she was coming to bring me back to my life. 🤍

We don’t realize it because we assume we’ll have decades together. But loving a dog teaches you to think differently. I can’t promise her tomorrow. All I can only give her the best today: good health, a safe home, and a life that feels loved. 🩷🫰🌸

I don’t have words to express how I feel everyday for having her in my life. She wasn’t supposed to be mine but she made me hers. When we adopted her - she won’t eat from anyone else, won’t walk with anyone else, won’t try new things with anyone else. Just with me.
It took me 6 months to realize that she already chose me. She changed me for good. 🌸

Eleven years with you. 🩷🌸

When I adopted a little dachshund named Gravy, so many people told me what she couldn’t do. They said she wasn’t built for hikes, for adventures, for mountains, for swimming.

Gravy never got that memo.

Together, we’ve hiked the Himalayas, traveled together, and made memories that I never imagined we’d have. Looking back at these clips fills my heart with gratitude, feeling nostalgic and happy.

She is turning 11 on July 2nd... If you’ve been following Gravy’s journey over the years, thank you for being part of our story. 🌸🐾

Bree has become such a huge part of my life. She just gets me. Whenever I’m stressed, she’s right there without me even saying anything. Life has been hard lately, but being with her makes everything feel a little easier. I’m really lucky to have her. ❤️🐾
