Kanav is taking care of some rescued cows from the streets. Ones who have been abandoned by their owners.

The little one on the right is a baby bull. He has lost his mother about a month ago. And we spotted another bull showing affection to the little one.

An interesting insight into animal behaviour. So beautiful to see this scene unfold. Maybe the elder one on the left understands that this little one needs some love and care. How feelings are shared in the animal world. Just shows that love is universal!

Next to our hill home in Dhanachuli, Uttarakhand, are the fields of Bhupal Singh. He and his family have been farming these areas since the days of his forefathers.

One of Kanav’s keen desire was to make Bhupal move away from chemicals. The only way to do it was to buy the produce from him at s higher rate than normal.

Bhupal Singh has now realised the value of not adding chemicals to his soil. And Kanav helps the family in reaping the potato harvest. The same is then brought in our car to Delhi and used for our customers.

Blending some chopped pieces of mango with milk or curd makes for the most delightful of summer-morning drinks. Naturally sweet and delicious!

We don’t throw the seeds of our mangoes, but collect them to prepare saplings of them. Turns out, we probably won’t be needing to purchase any saplings for the next season and will be preparing all of our own.

The Dusheri mangoes that were harvested this season were smaller than last years’. We wonder what factors affect the size of these fruits.

Today we are harvesting Jamuns!

Mr Iqbal Chand Khurana, Kanav’s Nanaji, developed this 14 acre farm as an orchard 38 years ago. And he planted a lot of fruit trees - Keenow, Guava, Amla, Mangoes and Jamun. And we are reaping the fruits (literally) of his vision. Ever so grateful!
