64 nos of newly recruited State Forest Service Officer trainees from CASFOS participated in a 2-day immersive training programme at Arignar Anna Zoological Park
The trainees gained valuable first-hand exposure to various aspects of zoo management, including animal care, conservation practices, zoo education, enrichment, veterinary management, and the day-to-day functions and activities of a modern zoological park.
The programme provided a comprehensive learning experience on ex-situ conservation and wildlife management, helping shape future forest officers with practical knowledge and field understanding.
