Post in honour of Steve Irwin, a role model for a generation who transformed how people throughout the world saw once-feared or so-called dangerous animals. He inspired tens of thousands of people, including myself, to pursue careers and lives in which these incredible animals are a part.

Without the impact of this man, I am confident in saying that many of them wouldn’t be there where they are now. I am inspired by him to be where I am now.

He educated millions of people and demonstrated that the public's perception of these animals may be altered.

Although I don't believe anyone will ever be able to match what he was, I do hope that one day, along with a lot of other incredible reptile enthusiasts, we would be able to contribute a little towards these beautiful creatures of God.

Among many other unsung hero’s, happy that this hero is still alive in the memories of many.
