My first ever aquascape setup – 2011 😆

Fully inspired by Amano tanks…
But zero knowledge. ZERO.

I used filter media aquaclay and thought it was ADA Amazonia soil 🤦‍♂️
No CO₂.
Internal filter for a 200L tank.
And the tank was fully exposed to sunlight because it was a display tank 🌞

Plants were trying to grow…
Algae was living its best life. 😂

It was a complete failure.
But also the most beautiful beginning of my aquascaping journey.

The shop owner believed in my interest and gave me a chance. That meant everything.

From zero knowledge to endless passion 🌿
