Conjunctival grafting was performed on an equine eye following a traumatic injury caused by the pe*******on of a wooden foreign body. The trauma resulted in a full-thickness corneal laceration accompanied by marked conjunctival congestion, corneal edema, anterior chamber reaction, and epiphora. Immediate ophthalmic examination confirmed the presence of a corneal defect with uveal prolapse, necessitating surgical intervention. A pedicle conjunctival graft was mobilized and sutured over the corneal lesion to provide tectonic support, promote vascularization, and facilitate healing. Post-operative management included topical broad-spectrum antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and systemic analgesics to control infection, inflammation, and pain.
