A1 - Animals Come First A1 - Animals Come First is a non-profit animal welfare NGO based in Kolkata. A1 is about passion and commitment.

All of us at A1 are united by one common purpose: we want to improve the lives of the animals who share our space. We dream big but we know the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. We are a young NGO, and have taken our first step by opening a small dog shelter. In the near future we will expand to take in cats. A comprehensive vaccination programme for street dogs and medical ca

mps for cattle in rural areas are in the pipeline. We are also talking to schools about conducting awareness campaigns among children.
