New aquascape started on dsm...3 weeks old now.. Plants are monte carlo,java moss and christmas moss...Will be adding in hydrocotyle and anubias petite soon...Stay tuned for more..

Java moss is an important addition to planted tanks.. especially when you intend to have one dedicated to shrimps. Here's a six month old shrimp tank with nothing but java moss. Quite a relaxing view...Isn't it?

Keeping the tank clean is so important. And to lend you a helping hand, you can consider these guys. Snails and shrimps help balancing your tanks..While shrimps keep the algae away, assassin snails help in curbing out the other snails' population...Happy aquascaping guys!!

A planted tank setup essentially needs perspective and composition...Here I have tried to play with driftwood,rocks, various plants and substrate...The driftwood has been covered on top with Monte carlo and Pelia moss which are otherwise placed on substrate surface..The dark places provide good hiding places for the fish an shrimps and add a cave-like feel...
