Alot of times when I interact with dog enthusiasts I have come across this opinion that a dog owner must be atleast from a certain financial level of the society , must have atleast a certain house of a certain dimension to have a dog....
I am strongly against this opinion although it might have some elements of substance to it . I believe that everyone has to right to have a dog . Factors such as the house size, the families financial level should not to the basis to decide if one should have a dog or nor.
I was walking down the streets of Ulsoor and I came across this scene.. the picture goes to show that to have a dog you don't need a car or a big lawn .. Humans judge based on luxury.. All a dog cares is for some love..

The purpose of a labrador--
Eat - sleep - Love

I have had over 25+ dogs over this 7 months of boarding and strangely this has being my first expireance with a Labrador guest ..
I could easily say that this has being my most challenging yet rewarding boarding so far ..
Oscar is who came to me a day before is a two year old love potato..
I thought it would be the usual boarding with sundu and the guest playing forever...
But I was in for a suprise ..
Sundu hated Oscar --- why because Oscar was cute and always followed me like a lost puppy and didn't want to leave my sight.
Sundu probably felt betrayed and hurt .

Meanwhile Oscar follows me like literally everywhere . If I go into the toilet he follows me there, to an extent such that I had to literally push him out for me to do my stuff and in that span of 2-3 mins .. he cries and cries like it's the end of the world., Probably he has serious anxiety issues but yet I see that love ... He knows he is going to be alright when I am next to him. I have had loving dogs in the past but this one easily tops them all...

Have we misunderstood the behaviour of dogs ? or Do dogs behave differently under different circumstances ? Dodo ( the golden retriever) my guest was supposed to be a very reserved and shy dog as per his parents. However when he came to me he was quite the opposite he loved the company of Sundu. Duchess( the pomerian ) on the other hand was supposed to be a ferocious and kind of snappy with other dogs, however that was not the case when she came over to me. She was one of the most easy and friendly dogs that i have ever had .

Maybe dogs do behave differently under different circumstances , maybe dogs are like humans, we can never be sweet with everyone and we can never rude to everyone .

I might not have a super big place with 24hrs CCTV monitoring but i can assure you that i will provide your pet with the best care and love which only you could provide.

Alot of the time people who come to board their dogs with me,see Sundu and get scared. Their reaction would probably be something like "OMG DOBBERMAN !! IT IS GOING TO KILL MY DOG" and they walk away.The picture below shows that the temperament of a dog is not related to any breed.I have seen aggressive pugs and the sweetest rottweilers and dobermans.
On a lighter note after an intense month of exams. I am finally free and i am open to boarding. I sincerely apologise for all those who wanted my service and yet i turned them down.
GrandPa's Home for Pets is officially open back again.
