Welcome to Hullu Kaddi :)

Hullu Kaddi (in Kannada) means Grass and Sticks. Hullu Kaddi, a 6 acre property located at Somashettihalli, near Doddaballapur about an hour's drive from Bangalore. Located amidst and beyond a Mulberry farm, the property once a vineyard is now being converted into a dedicated space for dogs along with growing a food forest. pter- 'Hullu Kaddi' aims to be the space for dogs, people and minds of all kinds to come together to learn, share, open-up and have conversations about dogs, food, art and life. As always, our philosophy is for the dogs and people to be as close to nature as possible and rough it out and go home content by spending time away from the city's madness and engaging and connecting with themselves. The one acre dedicated off leash area for the dogs to run, play, socialise or even just be themselves makes for a perfect weekend getaway for the dogs and family. The property also has a large tank for dogs to swim in and experience water amidst the open like never before. We also have a slush pit for people and dogs to get down and dirty! Our kitchen will serve yummy food to both dog & human. One of the main purposes in addition to having a dedicated space for Dogs and Dog owners was to have a space to grow what we consume. With this mission in mind, we have planted over 25+varieties of fruit covering over a 100 saplings. Srikanth, Founder Hollyboo Pet Ventures has planted over 250+ saplings in the 6 acre property since May 2019 and the mission is to plant at least a 500 by December this year. We aim to plant, grow and consume everything that we may need. Dog park is an experience zone for your dog(s) and you to enjoy being a dog.

Devi turned one recently.

Devi turning one was nothing less than a special moment for her family. Birthdays are meant to feel grand. And why not?

Her big day included a trip here to with a big cake for her to stuff her puppy face into. What fun is a birthday without a cake and what's the point.of a cake if you can't stuff your face into it. The humans had cake too.
Stuffing puppy face in cake with multiple trips to the pool is not a bad idea for a birthday.
It's A pretty good birthday idea for a human too, if you ask me.

💡Eat cake, swim to burn it off and repeat.💡
Devi's family- all first time pet parents go to great lengths to make sure that Devi gets everything that she needs.

To be able to witness the journey of people with their dogs is perhaps the most fascinating side to everything that I get to do.

Last Morning, I did a quick drive 🏎️ to with
Given these strange times, a quiet morning meant a fun drive to get there. And to get to an open space with birds chirping and an occasional cool breeze was heartily welcome while we discussed a 100 random things over a large breakfast on a banana leaf in the open.

Since it was a quick trip within the 4hrs (curfew), On the way back, I had a blast of a drive (NOT) while my friend slept through most of the drive. What is with all that traffic and dog p**p kind of driving?💩 😭

We're doing a whole new routine for the summer.

Every Saturday, all but one this April- 5 families with their friends and dogs pitch a tent here to experience the farm once the sun is down.

Kick back, grab a six pack and relax.
We'll set up a Bon-fire and you can carry your marinated (food) and grill on the common BBQ.
Make conversation, share food, conversation and see the stars.
Do quiet leash walks with your dogs in the night or
find your quiet spot and chill with your four legged bud.

Entry by Pre-booking only!

5 families (Tents) on Saturdays.
Jump-in at: 4pm Saturday & Bounce at 7.30 on Sunday.
Extend to 1pm at INR 500.

Regular slots available:

Saturday: Session 1: 8am to 12pm
Sunday: Session 1:8am to 12pm
&
Session 2: 4pm to 8pm.
(4 families/groups per Session)

Weekdays: 8am to 12pm & 3pm to 7pm

Does your dog like Tennis Balls, Footballs or balls of any kind? Or do they just watch you throw it and look at you like, "are you nuts, there's no way I'm bringing it!"

Some dogs are tennis ball obsessed. They absolutely go crazy over it. This guy here, ensured that he retrieved at least two balls at a time. The look on Halley's face says the rest.
