Glad to note that 275 emergency ambulances are being rolled out including 3 for Bangalore as was promised in 2020. The details of these ambulances are awaited. A great step forward .

Amazing. In a strong and definitive action today, The Hon Chief Justice took suo moto cognisance of the terrible Hassan monkey tragedy and asked for concerned officials to explain this cruel action.
He mentions that ‘provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 1960 and in particular, Sections 3 and 11 thereof. We, therefore, direct the Registrar General to file a writ petition seeking action against all those who are responsible for the said incident of monkeys. It is also necessary to lay down the guidelines to ensure that such inhuman and shocking incidents are hereafter prevented.”

Sign up to volunteer at AHVS! The AHVS Animal Care Helpline was launched 24 June by Hon AHVS Minister. While ambitious and bold in scope & quick ex*****on, the learnings are intense. There is much to be done to truly provide care to the animals. We need YOU to succeed!
A stronger, more robust and responsive 3 in a box system, needs the vets of AHVS Blr to partner with closeby shelters and rescuer/volunteers. This is a first of its kind effort.

Grateful that the Member Secretary, (Karnataka Animal Welfare Board) Dr Shivaram BN has promptly issued this on ACT’s request for & Care during the temporary . It is these initiatives from -AH&VS Taskforce which is a public-private platform that enable and drive on ground action that in turn, helps us all.
Much appreciated Dr Shivaram(who is also Dir-AHVS), AHVS Commr, all DD’s and Maj Mani, Secretary AHVS.
The CJ Memorial Trust
