Found lying helpless on the road, this street dog was brought to us by four kind auto drivers who couldn’t leave him behind. 🐾

He was extremely weak and pale, had a high temperature, and was heavily infested with ticks. Blood tests revealed critically low haemoglobin levels, and he urgently needed a blood transfusion.

His test also came positive for Ehrlichiosis, a tick-borne disease. We started immediate supportive treatment to stabilize him before he was referred for a blood transfusion.

A heartfelt thank you to the four auto drivers who stopped, helped him, and made sure he reached us safely. ❤️

Sometimes, stopping to help can make all the difference.

Before giving a vaccine, we always make sure your pet is fit and healthy enough to receive it.

The visit started with a weight check, temperature check, and general health examination. Once everything looked good, it was time for the vaccination! 💉

A few treats helped keep the little one distracted, followed by some well-deserved cuddles. 🐰

Pet parents were also advised to keep up with regular deworming as part of routine preventive care.

Teddy was brought to us after not eating and having difficulty passing stools for three days.

An examination and X-ray revealed a blockage caused by food and stool buildup in the stomach and intestines. Treatment was started to soften the stools and improve gastrointestinal movement, along with supportive care.

Teddy’s pet parent was advised to closely monitor his appetite and bowel movements.

If a rabbit stops eating or passing stools, seek veterinary care immediately. Early treatment can help prevent serious complications. 🐰

Our veterinary team promptly cleaned and treated the bite wounds around the neck and face, administered intravenous fluids to stabilize the sheep, and started antibiotics and pain relief medication.

Repost from PfA Wildlife Hospital

Our rescue team responded to an Indian Rat Snake severely entangled in a sports net. Loose netting and discarded mesh pose a significant threat to urban wildlife, often leading to fatal injuries if not found in time. The snake was carefully extricated from the net without sustaining any injuries. As non-venomous natural pest controllers, rat snakes play a vital ecological role in managing rodent populations. Following the rescue, the snake was safely bagged and released into a suitable, natural habitat away from human conflict.
