* Update* Theres been a huge amount of interest and we’ve passed all enquiries to his owners

Ziggy is looking for a new home. He was 3 in May, neutered and vaccinated. Lovely family pet, he was a regular in daycare and we’d welcome him back when he finds his new owners. Please spread the word! Message the page for owners information they will make the final decision on where he goes.

Celebrating 13 years in business today! Thanks to all our 2 and 4 legged clients who make it possible and have supported us into our teenage years. We are so lucky to be joined by lovely Molly cocker one of our clients who’s been with us from the start 😄

Here’s to many more! Thanks so much Tom, Evan, Edel, Quinn and Isaac xx

Thinking of getting a Hungarian Pumi?

Hungarian Pumis are still extremely rare in Ireland, but they’re becoming more popular because of their fantastic nature, manageable size, and intelligence.

Pumis are such wonderful family dogs spirited, loyal, affectionate, and great fun to have around. They love being involved in everything that’s going on, whether it’s playing fetch, heading out for a good run, or simply relaxing around the house with the family afterwards.

They’re very intelligent dogs with a strong work ethic, so they love having things to do and enjoy activities like agility, obedience, and learning tricks. They’re quick learners and very devoted to their people.

Their curly corkscrew coat is also surprisingly low maintenance. The Pumi's coat consists of 50 percent soft hair and 50 percent harsher hair, all the same length. They need brushing to remove the loose hair followed by a good wetting-down to let the coat curl back up. Once curled, the coat can be trimmed to keep it looking tidy. No dog is completely hypoallergenic but the Pumi is a good choice for allergy sufferers as they they don’t shed and the hair traps dander.

They can be naturally alert and vocal, which makes them great little watchdogs, but they’re also gentle, fun-loving, and full of character.

The breed originally comes from Hungary, where they were traditionally used for herding livestock, guarding property, and even controlling vermin. They’re energetic and athletic but equally happy to curl up and relax once they’ve had their exercise.

This litter we have 4 boys. We imported mammy Dahlia, from Hungary and daddy Bruce was bred in Galway.

Before going to their new homes, the puppies will be:
• IKC registered
• Microchipped
• Given their first vaccination and full veterinary health check

They should be ready to go to their new families around the middle/end of June.

The 3 black puppies are currently available. Most black Pumis fade to Dahlias sliver colour but daddy Bruce has kept his black coat. They’re flying around the place already such funny little characters with loads of personality!

They’re being raised here in the house with us, so they’re very used to busy family life, other dogs, cats, everyday noises, people coming and going, and lots of handling and attention.
