Horses really do have a talent for finding new and inventive ways to injure themselves! 🐴
Jessie unfortunately sustained a laceration to her tongue, but thankfully, with sedation, a thorough clean and a little help from a bale of shavings, we were able to carefully suture the tongue back together with great success.
Throughout the healing process, she remained comfortable and, most importantly, was never put off her food! 🍽️
Just over two weeks later, the tongue had made a remarkable recovery. We’re delighted with the progress and hope their owner will be back on board very soon! 🐎✨
