We are an exclusively small animal clinic offering a holistic approach to pet healthcare and lifestyle. We treat dogs, cats, rabbits, small furries and exotics including all reptiles. We offer a full range of veterinary services including ultrasound and radiographic exams, in house lab, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, vaccinations, pet passports etc. We have a special interest in and deep know

ledge of nutrition, including raw feeding, and herbal medicine (Western & TCM) and these are often the best ways of managing chronic diseases such as skin disease, inflammatory bowel disease, liver or kidney disease etc. We also offer a great range of exclusive foods to suit different budgets.

Dear clients ,
Atlantic Pet Care will be closed Friday 10th July - Monday 27th July due to annual leave.

🐶 Kennel cough is a highly contagious respiratory infection that spreads
between dogs in a similar way to the human cold.​

Symptoms can include:​

🐾 A dry, hacking cough​

🐾 Sneezing​

🐾 Runny nose​

🐾 Eye discharge​

​

Despite its name, kennel cough isn't only caught in kennels. It spreads
wherever dogs come into close contact with one another, including dog
parks, training classes, daycare facilities and other social settings. It
can also be spread via contaminated toys, bowls and even our hands.​

To help reduce the risk:​

🧼 Regularly clean toys and bowls with a dog-friendly disinfectant​

👐 Wash your hands before handling your dog​

💉 Keep vaccinations up to date - the kennel cough vaccine can help reduce symptoms and lower the chance of infection​

If your dog develops a persistent cough or you’re concerned about their symptoms, contact your vet team for advice.

Due to annual leave we will be closed here in Atlantic Pet Care commencing Monday 15th June - Tuesday 23rd June.
The clinic will reopen on Wednesday 24th June.

Dear clients,

Atlantic Pet Care will be closed from the 29th of April until the 8th of May due to Sharon covering annual leave in Market street.

We will be open again on Monday 11th May.
