They need joint support coming into colder months. 🍂

Colder, wetter days and shorter walks can leave older joints feeling it. Here's why it happens and the small changes that help at home.

What's in our Joint Care formulation that makes it effective and safe to give longterm for optimal support?

🌿Devil's Claw: a traditional herbal remedy for joint stiffness, used to support comfort and a normal inflammatory response in aching joints.
🌿Ashwagandha: an adaptogenic herb that supports the body's response to stress and inflammation. It helps with the restlessness and low mood that often come with chronic discomfort.
🌿Hemp Oil: a rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It supports healthy joints and coat, and makes the remedy easy to give on food.

This weekend only, get 20% off Joint Care with code **JOINT20**. Ends Sunday 11 October. Link in bio. 🌿

📣Who would have known?

📍10 years later, after many of those years working alongside one another in a busy small animal veterinary clinic, today we are introducing Natasha as a part of the Natural Vet Co. team!

It's a big moment, coming full circle from working together in surgical theatres, on-call weekends and emergency ICU rooms to here. I am so delighted to have the bubbliest, caring, and waay more organised than me veterinary nurse join us on this journey.🐾

Natasha has worked as a vet nurse for 13 years, and she is bringing all of that hands-on experience and care for animals to her role with us. Her knowledge and passion for animal health, herbal medicine and natural pet care are a wonderful fit for everything we do.

And there's more... We couldn't leave out that we are also welcoming Natasha's very own team to the Natural Vet Co. family. 🐶 🐶 🐶
Please join us in giving Natasha (and her crew) a warm welcome. We can't wait for what's to come!

Spent the weekend at the Veterinary Ireland Events Vet Conference ‘26 where we spread the word about how natural high dose herbal medicine can have a place in day to day veterinary care.

So many vets from all over the country gathered over the weekend, between mixed and small animal practice, and the interest we had about how integrative care has its place in clinical veterinary practice was so positive!

What matters the most in herbal vet care?
✅Consistency
✅The correct dosages
✅Quality ingredients

This is how we make herbal veterinary care work for our companion animals and it is what Natural Vet Co. has set out to provide.

If you have know of an integrative veterinary practice in Ireland or the UK that you want to stock our range 👇 comment below!
We are a local, Irish family ran business, we are vet founded and formulated, and most importantly we are on a mission to inject plant medicine back into veterinary care and we are determined to do it!

NEW BLOG ANNOUNCEMENT!🐾

In practice, joint pain is something that vets encounter day in, day out. Implementing earlier support has a huge impact on how a dog or cat does during their senior years.

While travelling overseas I discovered Green Lipped Mussel and how it works to naturally support mobility safe and palatable for both cats and dogs and easily added into their food. Go to our website to read more on my new blog post which takes a deeper dive into Green Lipped Mussel as a potent natural anti-inflammatory and how this works to bind and block pain directly. 🌊

Coconut oil has been used in human toothpaste for years. It is in our Dental Care formula for the same reason.

It helps reduce the bacteria creating the plaque build-up and gum inflammation, and it is naturally palatable enough that even the fussiest cats and dogs will eat it mixed through their food.

An added Benefit of this formulation ;
because Dental Care is a powder added to the food bowl rather than a topical rinse, the herbs are absorbed into their system and you will from this a silkier, shinier coat alongside the dental results.

Based on a clinical study which proved reduction in gingivitis, halitosis and tartar build up but made even better!

📍We have two supports targeted at supporting joint and mobility for both cats and dogs.

🌱 What is the difference between the two?

🐾Joint Care has been formulated to provide daily maintenance for healthy joints. It is a great support for younger, larger breeds where you are looking to implement preventative care earlier on it life to support them later on in life.

🐾Green Lipped Mussel & Seaweed blend has been formuated to target inflammation for senior pets or for animals with pre-diagnosed mobility conditions such as hip dysplasia or cruciate disease.

☝Both can be given safely alongside one another also for dogs or cats who require that extra bit of support as a multi-modal approach to joint support.

There's more to our Skin&Coat treat that you might not know.

Do you sometimes worry that your dog isn't get the best nutritional profile they should be to maintain their best health?
I found this a lot in clinic, and with my own pets; you want to give them fresh wholesome nutrition, but you also want to be sure they are getting all that they need.

We could have called this one a 'MEAL TOPPER', but we didn't, however it is a meal topper!! (with the added benefit of boosting their skin & coat health)

This is a treat but it serves a function.
You don't have to give it as a treat either, it can be easily crumbled over their bowl and added as a meal topper to provide them with a nutritional boost containing their essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals.

Swipe through for all three ways to use it, then find Skin & Coat at the link in bio.
