Looking forward to the Faculty Conference in November, soon after retuning from Mexico. November is going to be a busy month with an Irish Society of Veterinary Homeopaths event in Cork as well
Continuing the vet theme, our latest Congress Speaker in the Spotlight, is veterinary surgeon Emily McAteer. Emily will be educating our delegates about fascinating radioactive remedies with her presentation, “Plutonium Nitricum in Veterinary Medicine”.
Read on for a summary of Emily’s presentation.
“Veterinary homeopathy never ceases to amaze me. Even after many years in practice, seeing animals respond to a well-chosen remedy is incredibly rewarding.
In my talk, I’ll explore the fascinating radioactive remedies through cases of Plutonium nitricum, looking at themes of transformation, instability and deep-seated pathology, and how these can guide us to the remedy.
Homeopathy offers us an extraordinary modality in veterinary medicine. We need more vets with the knowledge and confidence to use it, so that more animals can benefit”.
And what is Emily most looking forward to at Congress?
“I am really looking forward to catching up with old friends, making new connections and simply spending time with fellow homeopaths. There’s something very special about being together with other homeopaths. Having those fascinating, deep and slightly unusual conversations on philosophy, remedies – old and new and cases that you just can’t have with anyone else!”
