Sabrina's Dog Grooming Parlour is run by Sabrina, a Qualified Veterinary Assistant and Professionally Trained Dog Groomer. Her studies have also included animal behaviour, dog training and first aid. She continues to keep up to date on all new grooming techniques by attending regular seminars at the IPDGA (Irish Professional Dog Grooming Association). Sabrina has entered and placed in two classes at the yearly grooming championships in Ireland.She will also continue her training in London in 2014 at the prestious Colin Taylor Academy

NO AI used 😀

Its becoming very common that i get photos of dogs from owners wanting their dog to look a certain way. 90 percent i think have been put through ai or chat gpt and its unrealistic for most pet grooms without stressing the dog and spending several hours on the groom.
I do love ai for creating a clean background but I do want my clients to see whats realistic. Dogs move , jump ,get old , and this can effect the finished groom and thats normal.
So between now and Christmas im committing to using no AI on my photos ( not giving up my Christmas themed photos😀)

After the warm weather im seeing a big increase in dogs coming in with ticks and harvest mites . Luckily no fleas .
Please stay vigilant in checking your dogs skin . Ticks can often be mistaken for warts.
Harvest mites are tiny orange dots often found between the toes or legs but can migrate anywhere. Your usual spot on treatment might not be effective against them so please speak to your vet about treatment if you find them .
Also please check BEFORE coming in for grooming . While the harvest mites wont stay living on humans they cause intense itching .

I wasn't sure until today if I would need to ask clients to come in early again because of the hot weather forecast but I think its a definite yes .
Ill be in touch with clients booked in this week but if anyone booked in Tuesday -Saturday wants to volunteer to take the 7am /8am slots that would help me alot
