Just like dogs and cats, rabbits need regular grooming too!

Rabbits shed a lot of dead coat at this time of year. The majority need a little help from their owners to remove it by gently brushing and combing it out while paying particular attention to their skin as it is very thin and sensitive.

In the photos is my boy Dave the Flemish Giant having had a de-shedding session today, and look at the amount of hair just one session has removed!!

When rabbits groom themselves or each other, they can ingest loose hairs which can cause trouble for their digestive tract and stools.
So, keep your bunnies coat maintained and keep that dead coat to a minimum.

If you need any advice on grooming your rabbit, call Georgina at Clip ‘n’ Dip Grooming Salon 051 425422
