The Irish Grooming Championship Madra Mania run by the IPDGA 🐾

What a fantastic weekend catching up with so many amazing groomers and making some many new friends 🥰

It was an honour to share some of this experience with my little boy who did his model dog for the competition aswell as being there to help set up ❤️

I am blessed to have a career that I can share so much with my son 🥰

On Saturday I was so shocked to receive one of the most beautiful awards The Mary Toland Award 💞 This award is given to someone who has inspired and helped those in our industry, I never want to do anything but exactly that so I am thrilled and honoured to be the recipient this year ❤️

Also on Saturday one of my little model dogs took home third place which I was thrilled with
🥉

I also competed with the beautiful Rocky kindly given to me by the beautiful Perfect Paws he was an absolute superstar and I couldn’t be more happier with his groom this time 💞

On Sunday I had the beautiful Max who I was so lucky to have thank you to his daddy Mark! Myself and Max have a special little bond and I simply adore him! His groom is one I want to perfect and I can’t wait to learn more and grow in the Schnauzer trim but thankfully and amazingly we placed 3rd out of a class of amazing talent 😍

Also on Sunday I competed in a class I have no knowledge or experience in 🤯 The breed standard model dog and I am delighted to of been beside the amazing Vivienne of GroomTek who made me laugh and enjoy the class and delighted to take home second place 🥈

The best award of all wasn’t for me but for Zach his little model dog which he did with my assistance won third place 🥉 I was so thrilled and it’s so encouraging for him! He spent his time brushing out the dog helping me put it together adding the shape and colour 🥰 So proud of my little boy 🩵

This year was by far my favourite Madra Mania 🥰 I loved every second of it and I already can’t wait for next year!!

Senior boy Buster ❤️

This more senior gentleman looks very dapper after his pamper 😍

He may be a bit older but that doesn’t mean he ain’t the cutest little fluffy teddy bear 🧸

I just adore this boy and his visits 🥰
