KENNEL ASSISTANT, JOIN OUR TEAM ❤️❤️❤️
My Lovely Horse Animal Rescue is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team and help care for the dogs in our rescue.
This is a rewarding role for someone who genuinely loves dogs and understands the importance of patience, kindness and responsible animal care. Our dogs come from a variety of backgrounds, and each one deserves the opportunity to feel safe, cared for and loved.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare
Have a good understanding of different dog breeds, behaviours and individual needs
Hold a full, valid driver’s licence
Be reliable, hardworking and responsible
Be patient, compassionate and confident handling dogs
This role is preferred as a live in, we will provide accommodation.
The role will involve the day to day care of our rescue dogs, including feeding, cleaning kennels, exercise, general care and helping to maintain a safe, calm and caring environment.
Working in animal rescue can be challenging, but it is also incredibly rewarding. Every day, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of dogs who need a second chance.
