💛🐾 BIG NEWS from Pawtastic Glam Team… we’re officially Butternut Box Ambassadors! 📦✨

At Pawtastic Glam Team, we're incredibly lucky to spend our days surrounded by your gorgeous pups. Every wagging tail, happy face, cuddle and kiss makes what we do so special. 🥰

Everyone, meet Sandy - 14 years young and an absolutely tiny little princess! 👑🐶💗
This sweet little lady came to us for some much-deserved TLC, and honestly… she completely melted our hearts. 🥹💕 She's just the most adorable little soul.
We gently removed some matting, freshened her up and, of course, made sure there was plenty of pampering, cuddles and love along the way. 🛁✨ At 14, it's never about perfection, it's about keeping her comfortable, happy and feeling her very best. 🫶🏻
And just look at her now! 🥹🎀
Fresh, fluffy, lighter and hopefully feeling absolutely PAWTASTIC! ✨🐾💕

🐾 WHY REGULAR NAIL TRIMS MATTER 🐾
Keeping your dog’s nails short isn’t just about making their paws look neat - it’s an important part of their comfort, mobility and overall wellbeing. ❤️
When nails become too long, they can touch the ground and push the toes out of their natural position. Over time, this may change the way your dog stands and walks and can put extra pressure on the toes, feet and joints.
Regular nail care helps to:
🐾 Maintain a more natural paw position
🐾 Improve comfort when standing and walking
🐾 Reduce unnecessary pressure on the toes and joints
🐾 Prevent nails from becoming excessively long, splitting or breaking
🐾 Keep those little paws healthy and comfortable
💡 Did you know?
If your dog’s nails have become very long, they often can’t simply be cut back to the ideal length in one appointment because the quick (the sensitive blood supply inside the nail) may have grown longer too.
With frequent, gradual nail trims, the quick can slowly recede, allowing us to safely get the nails shorter over time. ✂️🐾
And remember - nail trimming doesn’t have to wait until grooming day! If you notice those little click-click-clicks on the floor, it might be time for a nail appointment. 😊

🐾 YOUR PUPPY’S FIRST GROOM STARTS AT HOME! 🐾✂️💕
A puppy’s first grooming experiences can shape how they feel about grooming for the rest of their life. That’s why starting early, gently and positively is so important. 🥰
Before their first appointment, there are lots of little things you can practise at home:
🐾 Touch and gently hold their paws, toes, ears, face and tail
🪮 Introduce a brush and comb in short, positive sessions
✂️ Let them see, sniff and hear grooming tools
🛁 Get them comfortable with water, bathing and being handled
🚗 Practise short, happy car journeys
🦴 Use plenty of treats, praise and patience
And one of our biggest recommendations:
💗 Don’t wait until your puppy is 6 months old for their first groom.
Once they are fully vaccinated, we recommend having at least TWO Puppy Grooms before 6 months of age.
Puppy Grooms aren't about achieving the perfect haircut. They're about learning. 🐶✨
Your puppy gets to experience the salon, meet their groomers, stand on the grooming table, hear the dryer, feel the brush and comb, have their paws and face handled and discover that all of these strange new things are actually nothing to worry about.
With every positive visit, we’re building confidence, trust and familiarity while reducing the chance of fear and stress later on. ❤️
Our goal isn't simply to have a puppy who tolerates grooming.
✨ We want them to genuinely enjoy coming to see us. ✨
Those first little experiences can create the foundation for a lifetime of happy, stress-free grooming. 🐾💕
