🐾💙 Happy Pet Wellness Month! 💙🐾

Our pets are family, and keeping them happy and healthy starts with preventative care! 🐶🐱

🩺 Routine Wellness Exams with IDEXX 🩺

Our routine wellness exams, supported by IDEXX diagnostic testing, help us look beyond the surface to get a better picture of your pet’s overall health. Routine blood, urine and faecal testing can help detect underlying health changes, sometimes before visible signs of illness appear, allowing us to identify potential concerns early and provide the best possible care for your furry family members. 🐾💙

Regular health checks, vaccinations, dental care, parasite prevention, and maintaining a healthy weight all play an important role in supporting a long, happy, and healthy life.

❤️ Prevention is always better than cure! Contact our team today to book your pet’s wellness check.

🎃 Keep your furry friends safe this spooky season with these essential Halloween pet safety tips! 🐾🎃

* Hide the Treats: Keep all sweets, chocolate, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, alcohol, and xylitol strictly out of reach as these are all toxic to our pets.

* Stay Indoors: Bring pets inside during festivities and set up a quiet, calm space to help them avoid stress. Contact us now if you think your pet needs some help getting through the stressful nights.

* Watch the Decor: Keep a close eye on candles, loose wires, pumpkins, and glowsticks to prevent hazards or possible stomach issues.

* Safe Costumes: If dressing up your pet, ensure there are no small, loose parts that pose a choking risk, and check that they can move and breathe comfortably.

If you are concerned about any of these safety issues, don’t hesitate to call your vet or an emergency clinic!

🎃👻 Halloween is coming 🎃👻

This can be a very stressful time for our fur babies, and we want to do what we can to keep them as relaxed as possible ❤️
❌ Leaving it until Halloween week to begin some anxiety medication / over-the-counter medication may reduce the impact 🐶

✅ Prepare now and be ready for Halloween 🎃 If you pet struggles around this time with loud noises or unfamiliar people, please book in with our vets and make a plan that suits your pet ❤️

🌍🐈 Happy Global Cat Day! 🐈🌎

Today, we celebrate Global Cat Day. From the beloved felines sleeping on our couches to the outdoor cats thriving in our neighborhoods, all cats deserve protection, respect, and proper care.
Because cats are evolutionary experts at hiding pain, illness, and discomfort, keeping them healthy requires proactive, community-wide awareness:

🏥 For Our Indoor Companions: Don't wait for your cat to "act sick." Annual or bi-annual veterinary wellness exams, routine bloodwork, and dental checks are crucial for catching hidden issues—like kidney disease or arthritis—before they progress.

🌳 For Our Outdoor Neighbors:
The best way to protect the health of free-roaming cats is through Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) with local rescues. Spaying and neutering prevents reproductive diseases, eliminates mating stress, and humanely stabilizes populations.

👉 Is your cat due for their annual wellness check-up? Give us a call to book an appointment today!

Drop a photo of your favorite feline in the comments and enjoy some fun facts and photos of some of our very adorable staff cats. ❤️
