Just a little message from us 💕🐾
We wanted to explain a little bit about appointments, because we would never want anyone to feel like we’re messing them around or changing things for no reason.
Because we book 6, 8 and sometimes even 12 weeks in advance, it’s impossible for any of us to know what might come up between now and then — life happens to all of us! 💕
Sometimes we get cancellations or no-shows, which can leave us with a gap in our day. When that happens, we might give you a little call or message to see if you’d like to come in earlier.
We’re never trying to push your dog’s appointment further away — quite the opposite! 🐶💕 We’re usually trying to bring you forward so you don’t have to wait as long to have your dog groomed, while also helping us avoid sitting around for hours waiting for a later appointment.
And if coming in earlier doesn’t suit you, that is absolutely fine! There’s never any pressure. 🐾
running my own little business, and unfortunately childcare and family life don’t always go to plan. Sometimes things change unexpectedly and we have to work our appointments around our children. We don’t always have the luxury of someone else being able to step in to the salon and take over so occasionally i simply have to make things work the best way i can.
There’s also something else that is really important to us. 💕
I have put years into our work, my skills and the standard of grooms I give your dogs. I take so much pride in giving every dog a clean, even, beautiful finish and making sure they leave my salon looking their best.
We would much rather move or reschedule an appointment when necessary than rush through a groom because we’re under pressure for time. Your dog deserves our full care and attention. We don’t want to send a dog home with an uneven or unfinished groom just so we can say we kept to an appointment time.
For so many of our clients, it goes much deeper than just an appointment in a diary. We have been grooming some of your dogs since they were tiny puppies. 🥹🐶 We’ve spent years getting to know them, learning what makes them comfortable, building their trust and creating a bond with them.
That trust means an awful lot to us.
So when we feel that someone may walk away from us because we’ve had to reschedule an appointment, it genuinely is disheartening. Not because we expect anyone to put us before their own plans, but because we hope the years of care, trust and love we’ve given your dogs count for something too. 💕
We completely understand when life gets in the way for our clients. Children get sick, work changes, plans change and unexpected things happen ,which is why we always try our best to be understanding and flexible when we can. We just hope for a little of that same understanding in return.
At the end of the day, we’re all human and we’re all just doing our best.
We would never intentionally inconvenience anyone, and if we ever ask about changing an appointment, there is always a genuine reason behind it. We’ll always do our best to bring appointments closer where possible or give you the choice of what suits you.
A huge thank you to all of our lovely clients who are understanding, flexible and continue to support my little business. I genuinely appreciate every single one of you, and it means more to me than you know. 🐶🐾💕
Thank you for trusting us with your dogs, for supporting a mum , and supporting my little business. 💕
